24th of July Parade Cancelled; Vernal Temple Opening

Like other organizations around the world, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has made announcements in recent days to help its members know the phases of reintegration of church functions. Locally, several announcements have been made. First, the 24th of July parade has officially been cancelled “due to the ongoing concern and circumstances of the COVID-19 Pandemic…” Second, the Vernal Temple has been announced among the Church’s temples that is reopening as part of Phase 1 which allows for “Living husband and wife sealings by appointment” only, effective as of June 1st.
