A Roosevelt man was arrested this week after the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children(ICAC) Task Force, and Roosevelt Police Department served a search warrant on his residence. According to the Sheriff’s Office announcement, the 23-year-old male was arrested for 8 counts of 2nd degree felony Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. “Law enforcement agencies across the state are working hard to prosecute these types of offenders for their crimes against our children,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “Duchesne County ICAC Task Force has been actively participating with the Utah Attorney General’s ICAC team since 2004. We appreciate the help the public has done and is continuing to do to assist with reporting these crimes. Duchesne County will do everything possible to assist in the prosecution of these individuals.”
