A favorite fall event that benefits a charity each year is coming up. Now in its 21st year, the Jensen Pumpkin Festival will be held
October 28th
with all money earned from food and parking to be donated to the Sgt. Daniel Gurr Foundation. This year’s theme is “Life is a Circus” and all community members and businesses are invited to carve pumpkins and make a pumpkin display. “This really is open to anyone,” shares event coordinator Monica Farnsworth. “We really like to get the word out for people to sign up for the displays because that is what people want to come see.” Families and businesses alike coordinate amazing displays each year that impress when lit up during the nighttime event. Children pumpkin carving will begin
at 5:30pm
and the festival will be open to the public
from 6:30 to 9:00pm
