2025 Community Homeless Count Taking Place January 30 – February 1

by | Jan 29, 2025 | News | 0 comments

Every person counts! It is time for the 2025 Community Homeless Count, an effort aimed at understanding and serving the homeless in our area. This Thursday through Saturday morning, volunteers will be conducting surveys with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The data collected is used to ensure that more resources come into our community to help those in need. But what is considered homeless? The term ‘homeless’ is used when a person or family is living in a place not meant for human habitation, such as cars, parks, sidewalks, abandoned buildings, or structures without running water. If you or someone you know is living in a place not meant for human habitation, please contact the Uintah Basin Association of Governments. Call 435-722-4518 to share information or to receive more information on the 2025 Community Homeless Count.
