The Uintah Basin has a lot to offer and to help residents discover all that there is, Uintah County Travel and Tourism Office and their partners are excited to start this year’s ‘Passport to Summer’ program. These little booklets offer really fun, family friendly activities throughout the Vernal area. “We are excited to begin our 5th year of the Passport to Summer program!” shares Travel and Tourism Director Lesha Coltharp. “It’s been amazing to see local businesses step up and sponsor the program even during these hard times to help make sure the youth of our community stay active and healthy this summer, get outside and explore this community, and spend time with their families. We can’t wait to see all the kids get their passport stamped for doing fun activities all summer long. Thank you to the parents that support the kids and drive many miles to get stamps and do activities.” Watch the Dinosaurland Passport to Summer Facebook page for details, to earn stamps, and lots of cool prizes! The booklets are available today starting at 9am at any of these locations: Uintah County Travel and Tourism Office, Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce, Uintah Community Center, and the Uintah County Library.
