It was another year of growth at the Vernal Regional Airport and airport manager Doug Brown has the numbers to prove it. “As 2019 has come to a close, we have had another great year of growth and opportunities for our community members and those traveling to the Uintah Basin for work or play,” shares Brown. “We have set another milestone for commercial air service at the Vernal Regional Airport with initial numbers coming from Skywest and charters topping out at 13,561 enplanements and a total of 27,129 commercial passengers in 2019.” On behalf of the airport, Brown expressed his appreciation for the continued support and says they are looking forward to a great 2020 and seeing the airport continue to grow for everyone.
