It was an exciting homecoming football game for the Uintah Utes on Friday night with a win over the Mountain View Bruins with a final score of 44 to 23. Among the excitement of the night was a special presentation. Uintah High alum Jordan Brady from the Class of 2001, was inducted into the Uintah Athletics Hall of Fame. “Brady was a standout athlete at Uintah High, who played in college and the pros, coached in the pros, and was recently named the director of player development for the men’s basketball program at Brigham Young University,” shares the announcement. “Brady is currently ranked No. 40 on Utah’s list of the greatest high school basketball players of all time…While at UVU he was named to the NCAA All-Independent Team, All-Independent Newcomer Team, and was the NCAA Division I Independent Defensive Player of the Year. Brady played four professional seasons.” Brady has enjoyed a long and successful coaching career, spending time coaching in the NBA G-League, including with the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz. In 2017, he was named the first G-League head coach in Milwaukee Bucks’ history. In June, Brady was named the Director of Player Development for Men’s Basketball at Brigham Young University. Having Jordan Brady at Friday’s homecoming game for his induction into the Uintah Athletics Hall of Fame was an exciting addition to the evening.
