The 18th year for the Vernal Community Holly Days Festival will see a return to traditions that were put on hold during 2020 while hanging on to some of the new. “Holly Days is looking to be a great year with many of the favorite events and activities from the past,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “The Holly Days checklist is back this year and will be available for download starting Friday, November 19th.” Those that complete at least 12 of 20 listed activities have a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes. Activities include making a Christmas ornament, shopping at your favorite local business, playing a game, or watching a Christmas movie. Completed checklists are then dropped off at Cobble Rock Park between November 22nd and November 26th at 2:00. Winners are contacted between 2pm and 5pm. Finally, Bennion is excited about a brand new addition this year with the Ashley Regional sponsored Christmas Village. Sleigh rides and reindeer are just a few of the charms in store.
