The annual Holly Days celebration welcomed excited crowds on Friday to Vernal. It’s estimated that 12,000 people came to participate in the holiday event. Uintah Basin residents were joined by visitors from surrounding states and beyond. Last year’s event hosted a record crowd of 15,000 people thanks to the t-shirt weather but this year’s weather was still nice enough that people turned out to enjoy events all day long. “We witnessed another phenomenal Holly Days,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “This event is a great example of how the community comes together and celebrates with one another.” This was the event’s 15th year.
