It’s the 10th year for Sub for Seniors and organizers need your help. Sub for Seniors provides a holiday gift and food bag for each of the Uintah Basin seniors on their list. “These seniors are generally isolated, lonely, and unable to provide for themselves,” shares the announcement. “Each year we find our ‘why’ as we are out delivering to these folks. They are so thankful, so happy for company, and so grateful that we remembered them!” Non-perishable food items, gift items, and monetary donations are being collected now through December 13th and the anticipated delivery date will be December 19th. Please note, no expired food will be accepted. Your thoughtful gifts and donations can be dropped off at The Golden Age Center in Vernal at 330 South Aggie Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 3:00pm.
