The revitalization of downtown Vernal continues to receive good news. The downtown project will be receiving a $1.2 million dollar grant in Community Project Funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shares that Vernal City staff worked with Representative John Curtis’ office to secure the funding. “Credit goes to Curtis’ staff who supported the project through a competitive state and national process,” shares Bennion. “The project was included in the approved federal budget in March 2024.”
