The Cougar boy's soccer team finished 6th in Region 14, starting the first round of the 3A state tournament Thursday traveling to Region 15 champion Emery. Christopher Apawoo scored a goal for the Cougars and Tanner Miles shut out the Spartans, as the Cougars shocked Emery with a first round 1-0 win. They will travel to American Leadership Academy Saturday for the second round.

The Union Cougar boys soccer team faced off against the Delta rabbits at Delta on Thursday, March 15th. They fought hard to come back in the second half but fell short. The final score was Delta 5, Union 0. “The first half we struggled”, says head coach Bill Goodrich. “We made some corrections during the second half and played much better. Despite the weather, the boys played well, and we feel confident to play them next time.” The Cougars play Providence Hall on Tuesday, March 20th at Union.


The Cougar Boy's Soccer team hosted Tooele Tuesday, the Cougars were able to tie the game in the second half and after two scoreless overtimes the game was called a tie. The Cougars then hosted Park City Friday in a hard fought game with the Miners scoring the only goal to beat the Cougars 1-0.  The Cougars are at Grantsville Tuesday then head to Stansbury Friday.

The Cougar Boys baseball team traveled to Park City last Tuesday Matt Williams hit a double, but the Cougars could only muster one run in the 5-1 loss to the Miners, they then hosted the Miners Friday. The Cougars kept it close for four innings, then the Miners added eight runs in the last two innings to beat the Cougs 10-0. They're at Tooele Tuesday then host Grantsville Friday.
