3A State run Saturday hosting a pod site taking on the
The Bears lead most of the game building a 17 to 9 lead, then a nine run sixth inning by the Cougars capped off by a two run double by Rayden Deets gave them a one run advantage. The Bears responded with a run in the top of the seventh to tie the game. The Cougars then loaded the bases and Brady Mecham drew a two out walk to beat the Bears 19-18. Deets also hit a grand slam in the game.
Richfield beat American Leadership 12-4 to face the Cougars Saturday afternoon.The Wildcats took off to an early lead and held on to beat the Cougars 16-13.
The Cougars will head to Bingham High school Thursday to take on Manti.

10th seed the Union Lady Cougz Softball team traveled to
Kamas Saturday to start the 3A tournament taking on 7th
seed North Sanpete.
Starting off slow, the Cougz put a couple of runs on the board in the third inning, then five in the fourth to take the lead, but the Lady Hawks responded with six runs in the bottom of the fourth to retake the lead. Two more Cougar runs in the fifth, then another five in the sixth put Union ahead for good in the 15-11 victory. Allie Earl pitched for the win and helped her own cause with two home runs and seven RBIs in the victory.
Addison Martin and Parker Labrum also went deep for the Cougz.
The Cougars will travel to the Spanish Fork complex on Thursday to match up again with the 2nd ranked South Summit Wildcats that they managed to beat in Kamas last week. Good Luck Cougz!

team split their games with Juab last week, beating them at home 9-8
then losing at Juab
The Cougars start their 3A State run Saturday hosting a pod site taking on Summit Academy. Richfield and American Leadership round out the pod. Juab that the Cougars split with enter the tournament as the number one seed.

Union Cougz Softball team traveled to Kamas to take on the 3A number
two seed South Summit Wildcats. It was a back and forth matchup.
Malorie Bostick Homered and doubled, while Parker Labrum and Allie
Earl also homered as the Cougz fell behind early, then came back to
take a two run lead after five innings. The Wildcats scored three in
the sixth and the Cougars responded with two in the top of the
