Brent Cooper

Brent David Cooper, age 66, passed away peacefully March 8, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Tridell, Utah. He died of Congestive Heart Failure after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. Brent was born November 6, 1951 in Vernal, Utah, the son of H. Arvene and Maurice Nielsen Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cameron David Cooper; his parents, H Arvene and Maurice Cooper and siblings Marie, Larry and Cynthia Cooper.

Survived by his loving, devoted wife, Kristene Richards Cooper; daughter, Spring Heather(Jesse) Freeman and Heather’s siblings that he adopted with the true love of a father; Amber Hill, Micah Hill, Sumantha Hill, Crystal Nielsen and Heather Jolley and grandchildren;  Jesse Makres, Hope Freeman, John Freeman, Eva Patterson, Cooper Patterson, Rylan Freeman, and Baby Freeman due 2018. His siblings, Daphne (Gene) Jensen, Nelden (Irene) Cooper, Elaine (Eldon) Walton, Irene Wayland, Kenneth (Martha Ann)Cooper, Doris (Dwayne) Humphries, Alan (Kathy) Cooper, Nadine (Randy)Boudrero and Gerald (Marilyn) Cooper.

Brent graduated from Uintah High School and attended College of Southern Utah and Utah State University then proudly served in the United States Air force.  Brent married Kristene Richards December 22, 1975 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. His greatest joys were to be with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He loved his Savior Jesus Christ and served faithfully in numerous church callings. He worked in numerous occupations including: Logger, Over the Road and Oilfield truck driver. Substitute Bus Driver and his true passion as a Farmer.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Naples LDS Ward Chapel (2313 South 1500 East) . A viewing will be at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary Tuesday evening from 6-8 and at the Chapel one-hour prior to the serves. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorials Park with military honors provided by American Legion, Air force and The Patriot Guard Riders.

Services are entrusted to the care of and direction of the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary & Cremation Care.
