Utah State University is your hometown university, offering a variety of educational opportunities to residents of the Uintah Basin. We are excited to bring the 2021 Uintah Basin Speaker Series, providing insightful, relevant community topics to spark conversations. Each speaker's presentation will be broadcast live on Channel v6's Facebook feed and available through their digital streaming services. Jesse P. Higgins/ Biography
Jesse P. Higgins has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving the Uintah Basin for over 10 years. He has completed doctoral coursework and taught undergraduate students at Utah State and anticipates completing his PhD in Human Development and Family Studies later this year. He keeps sane and balanced in these crazy times by being outdoors, exercising, and consuming gummy bears and full-size Snickers bars. Combining his parenting research and extensive clinical experience working with couples, adults, and adolescents, he hopes to share simple ways that each of us can confront and overcome personal challenges.
