The Lady Eagles Volleyball team faced the LCA Eagles on Thursday the 12th. It was their final home game and they won in 3 sets. Jayde Moon led the team with 15 digs. Abbi Clayburn was close behind with 9 and Katelyn Lisonbee with 8. Ashtyn Spencer, Jayde Moon, and Abbi Clayburn all had 2 aces and perfect serving percentages. The Lady Eagles also traveled to Rich and played the Rebels last Friday. They lost in 5 sets. The Lady Eagles are excited to compete in the upcoming state tournament.  

The Lady Eagle basketball team also hosted Altamont Thursday. Kaylie Grant scored 15 and Tayler Richens added 13 and the Lady Eagles dominated the first half and held on for the 60-28 victory. Rashea Thacker and Tiana Nielson each scored 10 for the Lady Longhorns. The Longhorns then hosted the Manila Lady Mustangs Friday. Jordyn Sorensen scored 12 and Rashea Thacker added 6 as the Lady Horns held off a late game comeback by the Mustangs for the 31-28 win. Karina Magana scored 13 for the Lady Mustangs.  The Lady Eagles will host Union Tuesday then travel to Tabiona Thursday, while the Lady Longhorns are at Green River Tuesday, then host Utah Military Friday.

The Lady Eagle Volleyball team entered the 1A State championships as the Region 17 number 2 seed.  Easily handling  Green River in the first round 3 sets to zero, they then met up with Region 18 number 1 seed Intermountain Christian.  The Lady Eagles prevailed 3 sets to 2 for the right to face Panguitch. Losing in straight sets to the Lady Bobcats, the Eagles next faced the Monticello Lady Buckaroos. The Lady Eagles managed to win one set, losing 1-3 finishing in fourth place in state.  Great job Eagles.
