A two vehicle collision in Moffat County sent multiple people to the hospital on Saturday night. A 44-year-old woman from Grand Junction lost control of her car on Highway 13 south of Craig around 6:00pm. The vehicle traveled into oncoming traffic, striking a vehicle driven by a Craig woman. The Grand Junction woman and her three passengers as well as the Craig woman were all transported to Craig’s Memorial Hospital, all with non-life threatening injuries. Winter road conditions were a major factor in the crash. All travelers are urged to use caution on snow packed roads. Accelerate and decelerate slowly. Everything takes longer on snow-covered roads so plan accordingly.
