Wanted Pair in Police Custody

Theft has been on the rise throughout the area with the most recent reports demonstrating the fearless attitude of the thieves themselves. On Friday, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office solicited the public’s help in finding two persons of interest wanted in connection with multiple burglaries and thefts. The mug shots of Tracey Soules and Monty Ellis began circulating online and stories came forward of home burglaries in broad daylight and even a case that occurred while a family was still home. Late Friday evening, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office announced that Soules and Ellis were located and brought into police custody. The pair was picked up in Colorado. Details on this case will be shared as they become available. The Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to lock doors, watch out for your neighbors and report suspicious activity when it happens.
