Vernal Trump Supporter Highlighted in USA Today

While not everyone in rural Utah was on the Trump train, the majority of Utah voters were and one Vernal woman’s support made national news. Joni Crane is a familiar name to many locals thanks to her active role in recent years in the Republican Party, among varied volunteer service in the community. Crane’s devotion to Donald Trump as President-elect opens the November 10th USA Today article stating that “Joni Crane wants to Make America Great Again, and it’s not just a catchy campaign slogan…” Trump’s win clearly took pollsters and commentators by surprise but to tens of millions of Americans like Joni Crane, Trump’s win shows that Americans want to recognize their country again. “Where is the America we remember?” Crane is quoted as saying in the article. “You can only poke us so many times.” This article is among hundreds across the United States this week that is giving a voice to those who voted for Trump, a group largely marginalized before Tuesday night, but who made it count where history is made, at the polls.
