Vernal Theatre: LIVE Opening Season 3 With ‘Seven Brides For Seven Brothers’

In just two short years, Vernal Theatre: LIVE has become a household name in the Uintah Basin and Season 3 is aiming to meet the hype head on. ‘Seven Brides For Seven Brothers’, opening Friday night, has a large talented cast and is expected to be a crowd pleaser. “This is sure to be a family favorite for all ages!” shares production director Jay Haslem. “All the cast have worked hard on choreography that will bring you to your feet and songs that will shake the rafters.” Haslem has been a fan of this musical since he was a kid and knew he wanted to be involved when the show was announced. He’s more than qualified, having played the lead role of Adam in high school and conducted the Outlaw Trail production of the show back in 2009. One of the things Haslem enjoys about community theatre is the opportunity it offers citizens to explore their talents. The lead, Roosevelt’s own Mike Gamble, is taking on his role as his first major part in a show and he is amazing, shares Haslem. ‘Seven Brides For Seven Brothers’ runs on select days September 14th through the 22nd.
