Vernal PD Seeks Tips on Theft from Vernal LDS Temple Property

Vernal Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a burglary and theft from the Vernal LDS Temple property. According to police, the grounds maintenance sheds were broken into sometime between Saturday, October 15th and Monday, October 17th. A green EZ-GO golf cart style utility vehicle with a dump bed was stolen as well as a portable acetylene welding and cutting torch set. The community is urged to share any pertinent information with police about these stolen items and to share the images and information through Facebook on the Vernal PD page. Kristin never planned to work in news radio but has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the news team at KVEL. Her love of literature and writing developed in high school which led her to study English Literature and Technical Writing at BYU. She received her BA in English from BYU in 2005 and studied at UVU in Orem for 2 semesters to become a Certified Technical Writer in 2006.
