Vernal 7-11 Convenience Store Robbed; Police Ask Public For Help

There were no injuries in a robbery in Vernal City early
in the morning on Wednesday
. According to Vernal Police, the robbery took place
around 4:30am
at the 7-11 convenience store on Highway 40 next to McDonalds on January 9th. “The suspect fled the scene within the 2 or 3 minute timeframe it took for officers to arrive,” shares Vernal Police. “Video footage from the store and the surrounding area shows a man wearing a bandana approaching the store, entering the store and demanding money and cigarettes, and leaving the store toward the north. The robbery yielded the offender a small amount of money and three cartons of cigarettes.” As of
