Local Veterans please take note. Utah State Parks is holding a Veterans Appreciation Day this weekend. A ceremony is being held
on Saturday, August 11th
, at Steinaker State Park. A flag raising ceremony will take place
at 8am
by a local scout group followed by a guest speaker on the importance of our Armed Forces and the sacrifices they have made. There will be free breakfast drinks and donuts. The Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Dinosaur Museum will also be free admission to all Veterans and their families on Saturday as another way to say thank you.
