Utah Jazz Forward Royce O’Neale Coming to Union High School

The Basin will have a very special visitor in the upcoming days. Royce O’Neale, the forward for the Utah Jazz, will be coming to give autographs and take pictures. Royce played college ball at the University of Denver from 2011 to 2013 and then from 2013 to 2015 he played at Baylor University. His professional career started overseas in Germany. He has been playing for the Utah Jazz since the 2017-2018 season. Just this last year he played in all 82 games, shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from the three point line. He was often used by the team to guard the opponent’s top player. It will be a great experience for Uintah Basin Jazz fans or those who just love basketball. Come to Union High School on Tuesday, June 18th, from 10 to 11am




Kristin Baldwin

Kristin never planned to work in news radio but has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the news team at KVEL. Her love of literature and writing developed in high school which led her to study English Literature and Technical Writing at BYU. She received her BA in English from BYU in 2005 and studied at UVU in Orem for 2 semesters to become a Certified Technical Writer in 2006. Two months after completion she began her dream job of being a stay-at-home mom.  As mother of 2 energetic kids, she began writing from home for the KVEL news team in 2011 and considers it the perfect fit as a full time mom and part time writer.
