Uintah Student/Athlete of the Week
/The Uintah High School Student of the Week is Brandon McDonald, nominated by Mrs. Eliza LeBeau. “Brandon comes in as an aide during math to help a blind student,” shares Mrs. LeBeau. “He has gone above and beyond by helping us brainstorm ways to help our student be able to graph. He has taken this to the next level by working with our wood shop teacher to build a graph board out of wood. [He] has done this project in addition to his regular work.” Congratulations Brandon McDonald, Uintah Student of the Week. The Ute Athlete of the Week is girls basketball player MaKayla Parker, nominated by Coach Joe Meanea. “[MaKayla] is a great leader on our team and leads by example by being one of the hardest workers on the court,” shares Coach Meanea. “She also has a great attitude and loves to keep the team laughing and having fun.” Congratulations MaKayla Parker, Ute Athlete of the Week.
