The board is also set to consider the renewal of Dockins' employment contract which expires June 30

th, 2017. In paragraph 8 of the employment contract it states: “the parties may agree to enter into a new contract at the conclusion of this one. The negotiations for a subsequent contract shall commence the October before the year of the contract's termination, and shall be concluded by the end of December of that year.” Last spring, Superintendent Dockins' contract was up for consideration by the board.
