Uintah High Student Selected to Serve on National Suicide Prevention Council

A Uintah High School student has been selected to serve on a national suicide prevention council. Mario Bernal is now a member of the HOPE Squad National Council for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Most local secondary schools have their own HOPE Squads that work to host school events and awareness activities. Each squad is “comprised of students who are trained to watch for at-risk students, provide friendship, identify warning signs, and seek help from adults. To learn more, visit
