Uintah High School Mountain Biking Team Reaching out to Local Businesses

The weekends of September 17th and 24th the Uintah High School Mountain Biking Team along with Uintah County will be hosting the Northern and Southern division races. They expect over 2000 people in attendance each weekend. This is a great opportunity to showcase our community and your business! Most will be staying in hotels, but some will be camping.

"Welcome Bags" will be provided to each participant and would love to add any advertising for your business. Discounts are always greatly appreciated. If you want to make a flyer for your business or coupons, they are planning on 900 bags. It has been found in the past that coupons in the "Welcome Bags" have been very effective for local businesses and restaurants. Anything you'd like included needs to given by Sept. 13th.

Kristin Baldwin

Kristin never planned to work in news radio but has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the news team at KVEL. Her love of literature and writing developed in high school which led her to study English Literature and Technical Writing at BYU. She received her BA in English from BYU in 2005 and studied at UVU in Orem for 2 semesters to become a Certified Technical Writer in 2006. Two months after completion she began her dream job of being a stay-at-home mom.  As mother of 2 energetic kids, she began writing from home for the KVEL news team in 2011 and considers it the perfect fit as a full time mom and part time writer.
