The final list of who is pursuing public office in Uintah County is in. Thursday was the last day for potential candidates to submit their names to the Clerk’s office. Joni Crane added her name to the race for Commission Seat A this week, joining Dan Dilsaver and Bart Haslem. Others running for office in Uintah County include Duane Shepherd, Bill Stringer and Troy Slaugh for Commission Seat B, Michael Wilkins for Clerk-Auditor, Steve Labrum and Leonard Isaacson for Uintah County Sheriff, and Greg Lamb and incumbent Mark Thomas for Uintah County Attorney. Each in Uintah County need to gather 329 signatures from registered Republicans. Currently,

shows that all except Joni Crane, Troy Slaugh, and Duane Shepherd have gathered at least the required amount of signatures. Those with enough signatures can be included on the Primary ballot in June. There is still time to gather and submit signatures.
