Uintah County Man Facing Rape and Sexual Abuse Charges

A Uintah County man has been charged with 1st Degree Felony Rape and 2nd Degree Felony Forcible Sexual Abuse. According to court documents, 29-year-old Zachary Trujillo allegedly committed the offenses on July 16th. No details of the crimes are included in court records but it does state that the victim is 14-years of age or older. Trujillo made his initial appearance in 8th District Court on November 2nd. Judge Clark McClellen ordered on November 4th that Trujillo be held without bail and a bail hearing was scheduled for November 15th. In the last year, court records show Trujillo had a civil stalking injunction filed against him, was charged with criminal trespass and pleaded guilty of multiple drug charges.
