Uintah County Considers Roofing Bids

Uintah County Commissioners opened bids


on Monday


for consideration on the roof replacement project for part of the Uintah County building. Local company Pitt Roofing bid $80,585; Eagles Peak bid $104,745; Clark’s Quality Roofing out of Murray bid $180,665; Conwest Inc. out of Draper submitted a bid of $128,120 with alternate ad options; Warburton’s Inc. out of Pleasant Grove bid $111,799; and Integrated Roofing Consultant Solutions out of Riverton bid $89,597. Mike Wilkins stated that this is the 2nd roof for that section of the building in the last 30 years. Other replacements have been on different parts of the building. Commissioners will take the bids under advisement and expect to award a bid at the next public meeting. Commissioner Mark Raymond commented that the heavy rain storm last week resulted in roof leakage.
