After a long two year break, the 2017 NRA banquet has finally arrived. The NRA banquets held in the Uintah Basin over the years have consistently been in the top 10 and top 5 in the nation, shares Committee Chairman Alan Bennion, which says a lot for a one night fundraiser. By hosting a banquet, the Basin becomes eligible for special grant money that over the years have contributed to local infrastructure such as Buckskin Hills. No grant funding was awarded to the Uintah Basin the last two years due to economic downturn postponing the event. This year’s event will include gun giveaways and raffles.
