Uintah Band Marching Tonight in Pearl Harbor Parade

On a quiet morning 75 years ago the world was changed forever. Veterans, military officials and thousands upon thousands of others are in Honolulu today remembering the attack on Pearl Harbor that catapulted the United States into World War II. A group of young musicians from Uintah High School are among those thousands today as the Uintah Band will march tonight in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. This is not the first year the Uintah High School Marching Band has participated in the annual parade but this year holds special significance as the 75th anniversary of that infamous day in history. The parade’s theme is “Remembering the Past and Celebrating Our Future.” Locals can watch the parade starting at 7:30pm tonight at http://pearlharborparade.org or by visiting the Uintah Bands Facebook page where it will be live streamed.
