TriCounty Health Annual Report

TriCounty Health Department has a lot to show for their hard work over the last year. The recently complete 2015 TriCounty Health Department Annual Report outlines TriCounty’s growth and services. Among the listed successes is the significant increase of immunizations delivered compared to past years. In 2015, there were 5,577 immunizations administered which is an increase of over 2,000 vaccines from the previous year. Other services listed in the report include 3,144 acts of Medicaid outreach performed, 420 disease investigations conducted, 117 complaint investigations, 91 car seats checked, 50 cancer screenings, and 35 public pool inspections among many other services provided. The list of accomplishments for 2015 include the success of the first drive-through Point of Dispensing full scale exercise using the flu vaccine, over 1,000 Family Preparedness Guides and over 1,500 Disaster Preparedness Activity Books for Children distributed, as well as the development of plans such as the Ebola Response Plan.
