Tips Requested in Craig Robbery

Community tips are being requested in a case of robbery that took place early Monday morning in Craig. According to the Craig Police Department, officers responded to the West Kum and Go at approximately 2:39am for a reported armed robbery. “Officers ascertained that a male entered the store with a handgun and contacted the clerk,” shares the police department. “The male demanded money from the cash registers [and] after obtaining the money, the male left the store.” Thankfully, the clerk was not harmed during the altercation. Craig Police have not disclosed the amount of money taken during the robbery. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie jacket, a ski mask and sunglasses. The case remains under investigation.
