One of the oldest charter schools in Houston Texas is receiving some love and support from local students who wanted to help after Hurricane Harvey. The Terra Academy in Vernal invited their students to each try to donate $1 to help out the Beatrix Maise Charter School in Houston that was affected after the hurricane. The final total of donations was $3,782.44. In a message to the students and families that helped, The Terra Academy administration thanked everyone for helping others in need. “This school is becoming the village we said it would be when we started,” stated the message. “Everyone caring for everybody else.”
