The Vernal Rotary Club has long been a supporter of the Uintah School District so it makes sense that they are being recognized this week by Team Uintah. “Many third grade students in the Basin have received the free rotary dictionaries in Uintah School District,” shares Team Uintah. “This year, the Vernal Rotary Club has committed to adopting a school to volunteer in the classroom with reading instruction. Naples Elementary is the lucky school to have such fantastic support from the Rotary Club in reading intervention.” The students look forward to the visits from the Rotarians and some of the Rotarians consider this the best service project they’ve been a part of. Thank you Vernal Rotary Club for serving the community and local school children so well.
