Summer lunch at Ashley Elementary is drawing a crowd! “They have been serving at least 500 meals each day,” shares Uintah School District. “That takes time, so they appreciate everyone’s patience with the long lines.” Families have been coming from throughout the area so their kids up to age 18 can get a free lunch at the school that is central in Uintah County. “We want them to keep coming to summer lunch,” shares Jamie Reeves, who works in the District’s Child Nutrition Department.
“It’s been a great start to summer lunch and we are excited to feed the kids of our community with this great program.” The free lunch is available at Ashley Elementary School,
