Summer Reading Program Parties Every Thursday

The Uintah County Library is striving to get children and teens (even the adults) involved in reading during the summer. As ‘A Universe of Stories’ summer reading program starts to kick off, mark your calendars for Thursdays. Every Thursday the library will host a party to get the residents of the Basin involved with something new. The activities are designed to encourage growth and learning. Last week’s Star Wars themed party had a huge turnout of around 600 people. It is at these parties that families can choose from the stock incentives to earn as they participate in the reading program. Families are more than welcome to dress up for each event. The theme for

is Superheroes Day,
June 20th
is Invasion of the Library, and
June 27th
is I Survived the Wild West!
