Burglary of Basin homes, businesses and oil field sites have become an unfortunate trend in the slumped economy. Thankfully, law enforcement Basin wide are working hard to prevent future crimes and solve current cases. Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office reported on Tuesday that they have recovered numerous items linked to oilfield thefts and home burglaries in Duchesne County. While executing a search warrant in the Fruitland area, investigators “linked a number of stolen items to local Oilfield company thefts and other reported personal burglary cases.” No further details were offered as the case is still under investigation. “Remember to be vigilant around your neighborhood, homes and businesses,”shares the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, “and report any suspicious activity.” Call in tips to the anonymous tip line at 738-0196.
