Rotary Club Invites Donations for Santa’s Community Effort

Santa’s Community Effort has a long and successful history in Uintah County with the Rotary Club now keeping the cause organized and running great. Even with economic downturn, locals have taken tags from the trees around town and followed through by donating gifts for the children assigned. “I’ve been surprised by how well it is going this year,” shares Rotary member C.J. Davis. “It’s a difficult time in our community and you might think that people can’t afford to help out but, no matter what, people still pick up tags and find a way to help these kids.” There are still tags left on the trees that donations are needed for and there is still time to join the effort. Drop off time for donations are
from 5:00 to 7:00pm
at the Uintah County building front desk this week
through Friday
.
