Roosevelt City Strategic Planning

Roosevelt City believes public input is the key in planning for the future. As a result, the city has partnered with a company called Rural Community Consultants as a strategic plan is developed and public input is gathered through online surveys and public meetings. “Strategic planning is done in all types of entities,” shares Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow. “I have been a part of strategic planning with boards and employment I’ve been with…I have heard from other city managers that it was one of the best things their city did.” Snow says the city is hoping for a lot of input and then the plan will be used to guide the City Council, administration,  and staff with a singular vision. “If we know where we want to be, it is much easier to get there with a plan, so our strategic planning is to help identify where we want to be and how to get there.” A public meeting is scheduled for tonight at the council chambers of Roosevelt City Hall at 6:00pm. All are urged to attend. A survey can be taken at
