Uintah High School Theatre has announced an ambitious and exciting lineup for their 2018-2019 production season. They kick things off in the fall with Smokey Joe’s Cafe in the high school’s Little Theatre as renovations continue in the auditorium. The newly renovated mainstage auditorium will be unveiled for audiences for the March production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express, an ambitious and very technical show. Finally, the season wraps up in May with the british comedy Cash On Delivery back in the Little Theatre. “This season we are presenting three gems well-known in theatre circles but are rare due to difficulty and technical challenges,” shares Uintah High Theatre Director Chris Piner. “Each will be a Uintah Basin premiere…Our artistic and creative team is already busy at work preparing the season. Our batteries are fully charged and we can hardly wait to share these shows with you!” Tickets go on sale for Smokey Joe’s Cafe on Monday, August 13th.
