Pheasant Hunt Anticipates Huge Crowd

The Division of Wildlife Resources is anticipating a huge crowd for Utah’s general pheasant hunt, opening this weekend. Opening weekend is always busy, shares the DWR, but hunters can still have a good experience by being courteous and respectful to others. “Ask other hunters where they plan to hunt and try to give each other space,” shares Upland Game Coordinator Jason Robinson. “Also, if you have a dog, make sure to keep your dog under control. Please remember that everyone is there to have a good time.” Robinson also urges hunters to wear plenty of hunter orange because of the crowded conditions. Utah’s general pheasant hunt runs through November 20th.
