A free community event is celebrating a local hobby and all are invited. A celebration of biking and family fun, NUMBFest 2017 is being held at McCoy Flats this Saturday, May 27th from 9am to 3pm. NUMB, standing for the Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers, hosts the event as their annual fundraiser to support infrastructure and needs of local trails. Some of the things the group does is signage, explains NUMB representative Trina Hedrick, like working with the BLM on trails etiquette signs. While demo bikes will only be available for adults, all ages and abilities are invited to attend. Adult group rides will run at 10am and 1pm. Childrens activities will be held between 10am and 2pm. There will be prize drawings at 3pm as well as a fundraiser raffle on valuable items. As an important reminder, Hedrick encourages all traveling Highway 40 this Saturday to watch for vehicles heading to NUMBFest as there is no left turn lane on Highway 40 into McCoy Flats.
