A man being held in Duchesne County Jail for a gruesome child sex trafficking case has over a dozen new charges filed against him in West Jordan’s 3rd District Court. 37-year-old  Jared Stephen Morgan of Sandy faces 15 new charges including counts of 1st Degree Felony Sodomy, Child Sex Abuse, Rape, Aggravated Assault and 2nd Degree Felony Kidnapping. Court documents show that the new charges include two additional girls. One of the girls told investigators that she was 11 years old when  Morgan began dating her mother. Morgan began to abuse the girl when she was 12 years old and eventually Morgan focused his abuse on the girl’s younger sister. The sisters had an 8 year history with Morgan and were involved in the Duchesne County kidnapping and trafficking case. The new charges filed encompass the crimes that took place in Salt Lake County between 2006 and 2014.
