Meet the Candidate: Duane Shepherd for Uintah County Commission Seat B

Duane Shepherd visited the KVEL studio this week for an interview on the Meet the Candidate Forum. Shepherd is currently the Uintah County Commissioner in Seat A having been appointed to the position by the Uintah County Republican Party after Mike McKee resigned in 2017. The goals he lists for the next four years includes removing Commissioners from boards by having them advise rather than be able to vote, make Commissioners’ actions more transparent and clear, and securing public lands, among others. The Meet the Candidate Forum started on May 7th and is being held Monday mornings from 8 to 9am broadcast on News Talk KVEL 104.5 FM and 920 AM. The interviews scheduled for Monday, May 21st, are Joni Crane for Uintah County Commission Seat A followed by Mike Kennedy for U.S. Senate. Interviews will be rebroadcast every weekday morning from 8 to 9am starting Tuesday, May 29th, through Tuesday, June 19th.
