Thankfully no one was seriously hurt on Tuesday when a vehicle crashed into a Uintah County residence. According to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office, a 23-year-old Vernal man drove his truck into a house in Uintah County
on Tuesday afternoon
and the house sustained serious damage. “The man was driving north on Vernal Avenue when it appears he suffered a medical event causing him to run off the road,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “The truck ran over a mailbox, through some small trees, narrowly missing a power pole and guy wires before it crashed through a fence and into the back of a house.” Thankfully, the man only suffered minor injuries and no one was inside the home at the time of the accident. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
