Lapoint Elementary Funded for “Dig-It” School Garden Program

Agriculture is a staple of life in the Lapoint area making a new school program destined for success. Tractor Supply stores across the country have selected schools as recipients of their “Dig-It” school garden grants. The Ballard Tractor Supply store is listed as a winner with Lapoint Elementary School as the benefitting school. Lapoint Elementary is one of eleven schools in Utah to be awarded. The program has awarded 120 schools across the country with a guide and a $500 dollar grant to start or continue a school garden program. Tractor Supply is promoting hands on learning in America’s schools and sustainable living.
