Jensen Pumpkin Festival Preps for Big 20th Year Celebration

Plenty of volunteer hours have already been logged in preparation for one of the area’s biggest fall events: the Jensen Pumpkin Festival. This year’s theme is “Throughout the Years” and is celebrating a huge milestone. “[Planning] is going really well and we are so excited for it to be the 20th year milestone,” shares event chair Monica Farnsworth. “We are hoping for this to get everyone excited to do a display and spend time with their families, friends, or co-workers to create an awesome display or just carve a pumpkin. If it’s just 1 or 100, we want them there for the show!” This event has Jensen hopping with activity each year, featuring live music, games for all ages and all spent for parking and concessions are donated to local charities. Just think, shares Monica, “people come from all around to see what has been created, on a pumpkin!” Mark your calendars for the Jensen Pumpkin Festival, Saturday, October 29th.
